What was the highlight of Campanile Hotel Runcorn
Perfect for short stays
Location to our party venue was the main reason for selecting Campanile Hotel. The bed was comfy, the shower very hot and as forceful as you want, love the bath option (although small as expected in smaller rooms in every hotel it was deep) Plenty of beverages and refills available Venue was clean Breakfast was lovely and all served by one person. We are back again at the end of November
No advance warning of there being no lift only external stair access to 2nd and 3rd floors (didn't bother us but less mobile would need to request ground floor rooms). Towels were small Payment by card only no cash on site (understand the simplicity of this but I like cash)

The reception and bar/restaurant staff were really lovely.
The bathroom needs a spruce up especially with regards to grouting.

Paying for the car park is wrong. It wasn't a protected car park.

Good price, Comfy stay , walking distance to amenities, will stay again.
Bed was very comfortable linen clean, building is a bit dated but a good concrete floor to keep external noise down was something i miss from modern hotels. Everything worked fine.WiFi was excellent much better speed than what you get at a Prem inn or Travelodge. A ten minute walk into town to eat or drink whatever is your fancy mine was spent in the local Wetherspoons. I arrived at this hotel as a last minute booking as no where else available but will actually book here first next time.
Looks a bit dated but if refurbishing is going to hike the prices don't bother it's fine. I'm only asleep there 90% of the time.
